There are many many times when I blog about a session and its nearly impossible to narrow it down to the top few favorites.  This one is no exception!

On Monday I met with Darsi, Mike, and Little M to do a family session before they move to Kansas for military assignment.  We met Darsi & Mike during our birthing classes, as our little ones were born around the same time.  So it was great to get together before they leave and let our little girls play for a bit!  And check out those eyes on Little M...Amazing!!

Mike & Darsi, good luck with your move and THANK YOU for all that you do for our country!!  We'll miss you!

Saturday I did a mini session with Alyson and her boys.  This is one of my favorites!  Little A was ready for his nap and just wasn't interested.  But I love it.  And I was so excited to be able to document big A's first solo, unassisted trip down the slide!

I just saw this video posted on fellow photographer Anne Ruthmann's blog and loved it so much that I had to post it here.  I think everyone should watch this!   SMILE!

I love black and white photos.  However, lately I've really taken to color again.  And every now and then, I just cannot decide between the two.  This is one of those times.   Which photo do you prefer?

And remember little Alex when he was just born and then at 1 month?  Well guess who just celebrated his first birthday!!   Hard to believe he's 1 already.  And such a little man...watch our girls!

These are crappy pics. However, they were taken with my crappy phone camera. So there.

First, my new FAVORITE airline - Virgin America! I decided to drive all the way to Dulles (IAD) just so I could fly this airline. I upgraded to the Premium seats, to give me extra legroom for the cross country flight. It was worth every penny! I will definitely fly them again for my next cross country adventure! Here's the view from my seat, looking at my personal computer/tv screen and into first class. Check out the awesome mood lighting in the cabin.

Here's my view from the hotel. The Parc 55 staff was great and when they found out I was pregnant, they upgraded me to a room on the 20th floor with a view!

One of my goals on this trip was to just wander and eat at little cafes.   Well that was accomplished first thing on Thursday morning as I ate breakfast at a little cafe in Union Square.

Ahhhh....creme brulee, my favorite dessert of all times!   I had this with dinner Wednesday night and it was huge!  Soooo yummy.

Here's Part 2 of San Francisco.   These are photos I took from Fisherman's Warf and a little cruise under the Golden Gate bridge.

There's this bakery that makes homemade sour dough bread and makes them into the shapes of animals.  It was really cool to watch!   I watched him make turtles and baby alligators.  And the smell was sooooo yummy.

I'm back from San Francisco! My trip was a combination of business and pleasure. I went out for a conference for Moodle Moot for school. It was a great opportunity to learn about the new features within Moodle 1.9, as well as network with users and developers worldwide. Then I extended my stay for an extra 2 days to get my last adventure in before the baby arrives. I tired very quickly, but was quite surprised in just how much ground I actually covered. There were a few things I wanted to do that I didn't, and there were things I hadn't planned on doing that I did to fill in the gaps and "what the hell, I'm here, why not." So I'm breaking this up into a couple of posts, as there are so many photos I want to post.

We'll start with random photos I took around the city. Here's a night view from my hotel room. I stayed at the Parc 55, where I got an incredible rate on priceline.com.

And the view coming up from the BART station in Union Square next to my hotel.

I just loved this doorway which takes you to the back of one of the houses down in the Marina neighborhood.

And I just loved the age and complexity of this tree! I wish I had a bride in her dress sitting in it.

One item on my must-do list was go to the Palace of Fine Art. I didn't get to do this when I was there in 11th grade, we just drove by. So I really wanted to see it for myself by foot. However, after 45 minutes of trying to figure out how to get there and actually riding buses to get there, I found it under scaffolding! WHAT?! Apparently they didn't get the memo that I was coming.

Friday I went to do some shopping in Fillmore area and decided while I was there to just go ahead and check these lovely ladies out again since I was in the area.

Then the fog came rolling in on Friday and it was the coolest thing to watch it literally roll in, taking over the city, watching from my hotel room.

Then what would be the perfect ending to a great trip? Shopping, of course! I found some of the cutest little things in Union Square at some great prices.
